Solid Bamboo is exactly that — each slat is milled from a single piece of 100% solid bamboo, solid all the way through. There's no MDF, no composite core, and no veneer wrapped over a cheaper material. Because the slat is solid, the natural bamboo grain is authentic on every face, not just the front.
Each panel holds 8 solid bamboo slats, each 1" wide and 13mm thick, giving the panel real dimension and heft you can feel. The slats are mounted on a 9mm recycled acoustic felt backing, with a consistent 0.5" gap between each slat that exposes the black felt for clean, architectural spacing. Every panel is 12.5" wide, in your choice of 94.49", 106", or 141.6" lengths.
The bamboo is finished with a protective lacquer that guards the surface for everyday indoor use while keeping the matte, real-grain look — never glossy. Panels install with screws or construction adhesive, no specialty tools required.

Where are you located?
We’re a family-owned business based in Southern California, and all of our panels ship directly from our SoCal headquarters. While we don’t have a showroom just yet, one is in the works and planned for later this year!
Can the panels be cut? How easy is it?
Yes! Our panels are designed to be DIY-friendly and can be easily cut to size using common tools like a handsaw, jigsaw, or circular saw.
Do your panels flex in both directions?
Yes! The materials we use allow the panels to flex both horizontally and vertically, giving you maximum versatility for unique applications—whether it’s wrapping columns, archways, or curved feature walls.
Can I hang items like TVs or shelves on the panels?
While our panels are decorative, you can mount lightweight items directly onto them. For heavier objects, it’s best to locate the wall studs behind the panels and secure the items through the panels into the studs for added support.
How do I determine how many panels I need?
Measure the height and width of the wall area you wish to cover. Multiply these to get the total square footage. Then, divide this number by the coverage area of a single panel (e.g., 31 ft² for our 8ft panels). We recommend ordering an extra panel or two to account for cuts and adjustments. We also have a Coverage Chart you can reference above!
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free to the contiguous U.S. on most panel orders. The exceptions are samples and 118" panels ordered in quantities of 1–3 boxes, where shipping is calculated at checkout — order 4 or more 118" boxes and shipping is free again. Alaska and Hawaii are calculated at checkout.
What do I do about light switches and outlets?
Simply measure and cut around them using a jigsaw or handsaw. The panels are easy to work with and customize to fit your space.
Can I use the panels outdoors?
These panels are designed for indoor use only. Because they feature real wood, they’re not suited for exposure to rain, sun, or outdoor humidity.
How do I install the panels?
Installation is quick and straightforward—use either drywall screws or construction adhesive. Panels connect seamlessly for a clean, professional look.
How do I clean and maintain the panels?
Regularly dust the panels with a soft cloth or vacuum with a brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the wood veneer.
Can the panels be installed on curved walls?
Yes! Thanks to their flexible construction, the panels can wrap around gentle curves, arches, and columns with ease.
If I move, can I take the panels with me?
Definitely. If installed with screws, the panels can be removed and reinstalled in your next space.
Can the panels be painted or stained?
Because our panels are made with real wood, it can take on paints or stains really well. If you wish to change the color, we recommend testing your chosen paint or stain on a sample piece first to ensure desired results. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application.
Do you offer samples?
Yes—we offer sample kits so you can feel the materials, test finishes, and see what works in your space. Plus, you’ll get up to $30 in credit toward your panel purchase.
Are the panels eco-friendly?

Felt backing and the slats itself are good material. I ordered 3 boxes, out of which 1 had stapled slats on felt while other 2 were glued. The staples one became loose at few points and cutting them was difficult as loose pieces came out. I had to glue them back. I believe they updated the process and now glueing them on the felt which is much better. I would recommend getting the glued on panels instead of staples.
Lite version looks good but I wish they made regular version for long lengths too. Overall, I am happy how they look on the wall - Get the truewood!

We had a great paper white room hat needed a feature wall to make it pop. So after a ton of research, we figured we needed the Ultralight Walnut version, and we are so glad we did. We are so addicted to the outcome that we have identified two more rooms/walls to do the same, and we ordered 5 more boxes!
Overall I am happy with the new slats. The veneer is extremely thin and I had to be careful not to chip it simply handling them during cutting and install. They did cut well on my table saw. They look great installed, but I'm not expecting years of durability. If the veneer was even a 16th of an inch, I'd give them 5 stars.
These were just what I was imagining my plain-walled office space needed. Having virtual meetings with an empty white space behind me was getting old and I didn't want to just hang shelves. Enter Slats and I now have the visual interest I needed (with the help of a couple framed pictures). Perfect in every way!
I had a wall that was a little boring and the room on the other side, sometimes complained about noise. It was easy to cover the entire wall with these, and I just used a box cutter, ruler, and finishing nails.

Beautiful wood ! Easy to install only thing that i dislike is the slats come loose. Needsmore staples and maybe glue to hold the slats on . I worked around that prby gluing and tapping the slats that came off.

American Walnut TrueWood Lite 3-Sided Veneer Acoustic Slat Panel is a great product. Easy install with construction adhesive. Used my trac saw to cut the slats and it worked great both horizontal and vertical. Staining was easy due to the three-sided veneer. Matches perfectly to my black walnut dining table. Slatsco offered great customer service. Can't wait to install some of their other great products.
I absolutely love these slats! The quality is fantastic, and they look beautiful once installed. They’re also surprisingly easy to work with — easy to cut to size, and you can attach them to the wall using adhesive or nails.
One tip: be a little careful when taking them out of the box and handling them before installation, as you don’t want to accidentally bend them.
What really stood out to me was the customer service. Truly A+++! They are incredibly kind, genuine, helpful, and very fast to respond. You can really tell there are real people behind this company who care about their customers.
