I like the product but, I need to know/learn how to cut it? How to handle corners and so on..
Product is great, was disappointed that the size changed from what we purchased back in December and that was a surprise to find out when it arrived. Five star without the size change.
We would give it 5 stars if the ‘wooden panel’ parts had a bit more wood substance to it.
If 4 1/2 stars were available, I would give it that rating. The felt panels were easy to cut and install. We used construction glue to attach it to our wall, which was a good choice because that also helped in preventing sound transfer thru the existing wall (laundry and bathroom wall) into our living room which made a very noticeable difference.We were at first worried about nail holes in the felt when we hung art onto the panels but were pleasantly surprised that all we had to do was fluff the felt a bit and the nail holes would disappear.
We received our 2 panel orders pretty quickly and we received updated shipping information continuously.
The panels were not exactly 12” in width, but just slightly smaller than that, but not like the supposed 2X4 measurements.
The pros: Priced well compared to other slat brands. Shipping was quick and no damages to report. The panels are thick and the spacing between rows has depth and looks good. Panels are easy to cut and glue or nail to the wall.
Cons: I ordered 4 boxes of the acoustic panels and 2 boxes of the ultralight. The ultralight were perfect. The acoustic panel’s wood veneer was rough along the edges and had a lot of little splinters breaking off the sides. You have to be careful pulling them off because it could pull off a big strip of the veneer. Wasn’t pleased with how many there were. 1 or 2, no big deal. It was like 20 per panel. Was not an issue with 1 particular panel or 1 particular box.
The Sample Kit is a great option to see the different colors actually in the room!
Overall I am happy with the new slats. The veneer is extremely thin and I had to be careful not to chip it simply handling them during cutting and install. They did cut well on my table saw. They look great installed, but I'm not expecting years of durability. If the veneer was even a 16th of an inch, I'd give them 5 stars.

Ordered Grey Oak panels. Boxes arrived on time as promised, label said “Grey Oak”. Opened boxes two weeks later and couldn’t believe it - it looks nothing like picture on the website. Installed it anyway and loved it even better!!!
My son plays guitar bass and drums, I did his entire room. Easy screw in installation and the room looks awesome.

When shopping for these panels, there is a difference, not only in price but also in texture. These panels have a less deep profile than others. By that I mean, they appear less obvious in your decor in the fact that they don’t stick out into the room as most of these panels do. The fact that they are not chunky wood panels is actually more attractive when the wall feature is finished. Each panel is lighter weight and thus easier to mount and suitable for the DIY.
My only complaint is the length of each panel because rooms over the last 10 years have gotten taller. My walls are 10 1/2 feet so I am out of luck.
This was just a sample piece and was impressed with the quality and the price is well worth it. I landed up placing an order to use on my project. Company was very responsive and helpful with all my questions.
These were just what I was imagining my plain-walled office space needed. Having virtual meetings with an empty white space behind me was getting old and I didn't want to just hang shelves. Enter Slats and I now have the visual interest I needed (with the help of a couple framed pictures). Perfect in every way!

I had a wall that was a little boring and the room on the other side, sometimes complained about noise. It was easy to cover the entire wall with these, and I just used a box cutter, ruler, and finishing nails.

Love this product! super light and beautiful. I was happy to be able to get the longer length but it does not ship well. All but 2 panels in the box are damaged. Because it is flexible the shipping company damaged them.
Wall turned out better then expected, photo does no justice….not difficult but not easy if you have to cut out holes…we used a butcher knife to cut felt… looks beautiful. Great quality a couple of damage but easy to fix…,give it a five star overall.
